Winery review: Classic varietal notes of wild herbs, roasted coffee beans, leather and spices deep ruby hues while on the palate sweet spiced notes of cinnamon and cardamom, held together with lively acidity and graceful tannins.
My review: This just felt like a very Italian wine for some reason. To me the nose was very herbal and florally. The palate was very hard to place for me, I wanted to get the coffee notes out of it but I feel like I got earthy leathery taste more so. For $6 this was a good red Italian wine in my opinion.
The Pairing: I did not pair this wine with any food
